The first ice cream, now known as Magnum, was created and developed in Belgium by the Ola laboratory (Baasrode) in collaboration with the Belgian chocolate manufacturer Callebaut. This was high quality ice cream, like the Nogger brand, produced by the Danish company Frisko. It was first sold in Germany in January 1989. The original Magnum (later renamed the Classic Magnum) features a thick bar covered in a layer of real chocolate and a dollop of vanilla. The original Magnum weighs 86 grams and has a volume of 120 ml.
